Air temps were expected around 80 and we had pretty good water. Dan had the hot hand putting 2 BIG bass in the net over 19. I lucked into an 18.5 smallie early on
Summer is in full swing here in Traverse City and it looks like we still have plenty of warm water forecasted for the next week. Please make sure you’re monitoring water temperatures while trout fishing!

It’s a beautiful, cloudy Friday morning on the river. There are a few hex carcasses under the front door light — not from last night, but from several nights ago. Everything is in full bloom and lush. We’ve had rain, record heat, and now, for a few days, some cool.
