An odd, and interesting, week.  Overnight lows dipped enough to allow for some better daytime fishing.  Canadian smoke painted some wild sunsets.  The tricos sparkled in the morning light.  The afternoon rise improved dramatically with deer flies, ants, and attractors.  The evening mix of light cahills and BWOs was pleasant

Early August Fishing Report

Temperatures have finally broken from the stranglehold of heat we’ve endured the past couple of weeks. Last night, I was out on the river mousing, and the air temperature dipped all the way down to 42 degrees—it was cold!
