Hey guys, just a quick little update as once again, it’s been a while! Unfortunately, I have not been out nearly as much as anticipated since last report with projects, preparation, various business issues and life in general getting in the way but that will be changing now real soon!

Trout are Beautiful

I think…that trout are beautiful.   Not to paraphrase Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance, which I read far too long ago to accurately paraphrase anyway, but it seems there is an universality to the beauty of a trout.  They are, even to the non-fisher, “really pretty.”   I’m writing this

It’s been WAY TOO LONG since my last report.  Very busy fall and tough conditions were not motivating me to post.  The fishing picked up and is heading in the right direction as Spring approaches.  We just had a nice bump in water levels

Shaking off the optimism of this warm up has been difficult.  A big warm-up like this isn’t always great for the trout catching but it’s nice to be out on the river, of course, smelling spring smells: Melting snow and pines and wet logs.  I’ve had a few anglers from
