Warm Springs Ponds, Thursday, May 26, 1994 Lots of float tubers on the pond. When the ARCO workers saw them from up above, they said it looked like a bowl of Cheerios. Saw lots of monster trout along the western shore. I landed a 3 pound rainbow on a bead head hares ear nymph. By far the biggest trout I've ever caught. I'm not sure how long it was, but I could barely get both hands around its belly. A tuber nearby caught a rainbow over 5 pounds that pulled him around for a while. We caught his trout on film as well. |
