North Country Trail, Friday, November 24, 1995 We meant to follow the trail signs, but couldn't find any leading north. Instead, we bushwacked and followed 2-tracks. There was about 4 inches of snow, so hiking was pretty easy through the woods. Probably went about six miles round trip. The lakes weren't much to see, they were frozen over and the houses and cabins surrounding them seemed empty. Lots of cabins back in here and not much to see. Probably not worth a return trip to this spot. |
